What this page covers
This policy applies to rocalyn.com and its subdomains, operated by Rocalyn LLC, a California limited liability company. It does not cover separate products or services we may operate under their own terms and privacy notices; those will have their own policies. For our Rocalyn Edge product, see the Rocalyn Edge Privacy Policy; our text-messaging commitments are also summarized below.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our web host records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp). Logs are retained by our host per their policy and are used only for security, abuse prevention, and operational debugging.
- Correspondence. If you email us at
hello@rocalyn.com,founder@rocalyn.com, or any other Rocalyn address, we retain the message so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation. - Nothing else. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, session replay, fingerprinting, or behavioral profiling on this site.
Cookies
This site does not set first-party tracking cookies. If a future page needs a cookie (e.g., a dark-mode preference), we will set only what is necessary for that feature and disclose it here.
How we use what we collect
- To respond to your messages.
- To operate and secure the site.
- To comply with legal obligations if they arise.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Third parties
We use a small number of standard service providers to run the site (web hosting, domain DNS, email). These providers receive only what is necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own terms. We do not integrate third-party advertising networks, social trackers, or data brokers.
Text messaging (SMS/RCS)
This website does not send text messages and does not collect phone numbers. Rocalyn LLC does operate a text-messaging program for its product Rocalyn Edge, which sends account notifications to customers who opt in at rocalynedge.com. That program is governed by the Rocalyn Edge Privacy Policy, and the commitments below apply to any text messaging Rocalyn LLC operates:
- No mobile information or text-messaging opt-in/consent will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that support the messaging service (for example, our messaging carrier) solely to deliver the messages you requested; text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing.
- Mobile numbers are used only to send the messages you signed up for and to honor opt-out and support requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights over personal information a business collects about you, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to correct. If you are in the EU, the EEA, or the UK, the GDPR and equivalent laws give you similar rights. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@rocalyn.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes may also be called out on the home page for a reasonable period.
